Grandpa Sweater

The post title says it, this sweater belonged to my grandfather. With the cool weather now descended, I just wanted to wear something snuggly and warm and this fit the bill perfectly. I chose my eyeshadow colours to mirror the colours in the pattern.

I'm slowly learning to style my hair, finally managed to get it to stay off the back shaved part of my head. Now the hair is tickling at my ear and I'm wondering whether or not to trim it down again. I'm still thinking of letting it grow out and then shaving the side down again once the back has grown back in. We'll see. Cheers!

Floral Edge

This is a dress I thrifted last week. My bosom is slightly too large for it so the little waist bit rides up some but I honestly don't care. The dress is just so light and airy and feminine and I enjoy wearing it.

I've been waffling back and forth about how I feel about my new hair cut. Today is a love day. I won't be keeping the back of my head shaved down like this for long, but I am loving the new short length in the back. I hadn't realized how much of an irritation all that hair back there was for me.

The field behind my home is just gorgeous right now and it felt good to get out there with my camera. I've been pretty slothful lately since getting home and I've already put on weight, but at least this outfit makes me feel attractive. I hope the sun is shining where you are too. Cheers!

New Cut and Style

I shaved down the one side of my head back in March, but I've had an itch for even more of a hair change. Today I finally got it! I love it so much... On regular days it won't be so styled - I don't know how or even own most of the products and equipment required to pull this off - but I still feel so refreshed.

The shaved side is still there, but now also continues as an angled undercut across the back of my head. The hair up top was left longer and cut at an angle to lengthen to its longest point by my face. I love this cut!
My hair stubbornly fell flat about 15 minutes after I took these photos, it's so thin and light that it hardly even holds any sort of shape. That's fine with me though, I don't like having a head that reeks of products and I washed it all out just now. Now to enjoy how quickly this little hair dries after a shower! Cheers!

Fresh

My head is freshly shaved again, which is nice. That side had been getting longer than I'd like having it. You can really see the difference between this photo and those from my previous post, and that's just two weeks' growth.

My hair grows like a weed! Which I suppose in one way is a good thing, for when I decide I'm over this style. Thankfully a $10 beard trimmer is all I need to keep it shaved down - who needs a hair dresser? Can't wait until I can wear this outfit without leggings and socks beneath it... Cheers!
